The 04651/ A trip in a bag stand at Pitti Immagine Uomo 108 by Herringbone is the October Monthly Winner of the Shaping Surfaces competition by Cleaf.
The project draws inspiration from Steve Goodman’s 1971 song “The City of New Orleans”, where the train becomes the narrator of its own journey across the United States.
As this German fashion brand is closely linked to travel, the project viewed the train as a living machine.
The installation showcases the collection within an environment that deconstructs its forms and reinterprets its archetypes, blending suggestion and contemporaneity.
The alternation of the negative and positive pace combined with wood effect of Riga LS53 have been chosen for the interiors of the coach.
