The Hotel Maier in Friedrichshafen by Linie Zweii is the July Monthly Winner of the Shaping Surfaces competition by Cleaf.
A fourth generation family hotel that combines tradition and slow-food cuisine in an optimal location to Lake Constance and the surrounding nature.
The existing main building built in 1936 is now complemented by a new courtyard house with 20 rooms.
The result is three different room configurations with one common element: a wall artwork representing an abstracted view of the lake from the rooftop.
Inside the rooms, the natural and geometric composition of Nadir FB04 Scarf was chosen for the boiserie on the back of the bed and for the wardrobe.
