The YOU Dental Clinic in Lisbon by Radian Contemporary Architecture is the June Monthly Winner of the Shaping Surfaces competition by Cleaf.
The project was born from Dr Pedro’s vision. A renowned and experienced dental professional, he wanted to create an extraordinary, sophisticated environment that was completely different from the traditional clinical setting. Drawing inspiration from the refined comfort of high-end boutique hotels, the aim was to provide patients with a uniquely welcoming and exclusive experience.
The project’s creative inspiration emerged from curved, organic lines designed to immediately evoke warmth, softness and fluidity. These lines define the clinic’s aesthetic character and actively contributing to an immersive sensory experience and creating natural and intuitive pathways.
One of the primary challenges was to harmoniously integrate aesthetics with functionality. To achieve this, distinctive, high-quality materials known for their unique textures and sustainable qualities were selected.
The walls are elegantly clad in Fronda S164 elm wood effect. Additional bespoke furniture features meticulously designed details, such as the trowelled plaster effect of Ares FB51 combined with the soft, high-resistance Piombo HM01.
