The Monalia Hotel in Parga by G2Lab is the August Monthly Winner of the Shaping Surfaces competition by Cleaf.

Built in the middle of a lush olive grove the complex offers a luxurious retreat that promotes a harmonious coexistence with the natural environment.
Following the topography of the land, the villas and suites are built on two levels, integrating the underground structures and ensuring unobstructed views of the Ionian Sea.
The emphasis on simplicity, natural materials, and integration into the landscape with the smallest possible footprint are the main points of the project.

The use of a warm colour palette for concrete, wood, ceramics and fabrics evokes summer life outdoors. In this context, the extraordinary aspect of Fusion T057-FA44, which incorporates a fabric within a rigid surface, was chosen for the wardrobe doors, kitchens and headboards. Instead, Paglia UB40 was chosen for the kitchen wall units.
